In the primary investigation of the police, it has come to light that seven people were in the gang that carried out this dacoity. Police have collected CCTV footage.

This jewellery is owned by Ashraf of Manjeshwar. The dacoits first attacked security guard Abdulla on his head and then tied him up. Later they broke open the shutter and entered the shop. DySP Balakrishnan Nair informed that this must be the act of inter-state dacoits.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY COVERED THE SHOP IN A SINGLE SHUTTER. EVEN IN TOUGH RULED COUNTRY LIKE KSA, YOU WILL FIND THE GOLD SHOPS ARE COVERED WITH THICK 2 INCH METAL SHEETS (NOT SHUTTHERS) WITH WELDING PROOF LOCKS. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN OR IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST 6 HOURS. MAY BE THE OWNER MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT, IT WILL BE COVERED FROM INSURANCE. IT IS LIKE PEOPLE BUYING EXPENSIVE CARS, NOT BOTHERED TO CHANGE THE TYRES UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY WORN OUT/ EXPIRED AND END UP IN A ACCIDENT AND FINALY BLAMING THE CAR COMPANY.

Here I find very poor security for the shop. Not enough only a normal shutter,or cctv camera, should have installed a gate of hardware ,By opening with force a alarm should be installed .so that people gather to see what is wrong. When so much jewellary watches too in silver shop?why did security raise alarm?Hope one day they will be caught once again when they come to visit.
