Kasargod: Children swindle money from mother's account to play PUBG

Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Jul 23: The parents have been buying smartphones for their kids as they require them for attending online classes and other purposes. However, these smartphones can pose serious problems. Kerala cybercrime police have found that two Kozhikode-based children had swindled one lac rupees from the account of their parents by using the smartphone for PUBG game.

A lady from Kozhikode had complained to the cybercrime police about someone withdrawing one lac rupees from her account. The police who hit the trail of evidence, reached to the conclusion that her two children studying in ninth and tenth standards, with the support of another student, who happens to be their relative, had spent this money for online gaming.

The woman's husband is employed in a foreign country. For helping the children to attend online classes, he had procured a smartphone and tab for them. The children had started to play banned PUBG game by using their smartphones. To reach new stages of the game, they needed money. They collected internet banking password and other information about their mother, and withdrew money from her account. Even when the mother complained to the police, the children were tight-lipped.

The matter came to light after cyber cell inspector P Rajesh, led an investigation into the complaint.

Actually you dont need money to get to the next level of the game, its just that by paying money we can get rare skins or charecter.Theres no such thing as next level and the skins which are bought doesnt make a difference its just for showoff.iIts just the foolishness of young minds spending money for a game.

There will be more negative news coming from Mysore or Bangalore, itself, let alone Kasargod. Maybe, one day, someone (most probably a gunda from Indiranagar only) will hack your credit card or bank account just for the sake of Fortnite, so forget about Pubg or sabji. Or maybe, one of your kids may do the same to you...........Just wait and watch.....

Sanjay, Have you ever given a thought why Kasaragod is always in news for negative things? The fact is that the population of one particular community is rising alarmingly in the last two decades and the once peaceful Kasaragod in the 90s, is becoming an epicenter for illegal activities now!!! Think about it.

CA Girisha, What was the qualifications of Lallu and other ministers of the past who handled big ministries? Did they hold all 26 alphabets in their qualifications? Modi at least tried to enroll Kashmiri students to get enrolled in schools instead of going behind terrorists. Don't you know this? All the past administrators in J&K state tried their best to fill their sacks. You were simply catching fish those days instead of expounding truth. Any one can pelt stones on glass house. How is the owner or architect held responsible for others fault?

They played a very bad game. Was it not possible to lock certain games for children? She must have not thought of this that her children go beyond her imaginatioon.Or now she must do lock her account for third one.One lac rupees.Only if these children understand how long and hard one have to work for this .Now mother should make them work for their bad behaviour of drawing money without asking and not tell her.Let them do some small work at home.Dont let them go scot free.Otherwise they will continue to do further either from their mother or someone else.Put a stop now itself.when not now later will be too late.Dont be too soft.
