Mangaluru, Jun 26: College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) of Srinivas University organised a virtual conference on Saturday June 26 'Reform, Perform and Transform: Challenges and Opportunities'.
Pradeep Ghorphade, director of Human Resources, Sheraton Grand Bangalore- Marriott International was the chief guest of the function. In his inaugural address he said, "In response to economic slowdown caused by the pandemic, business reforms should accelerate their performance along with boosting customer experience and service."
Dr P S Aithal, the vice-chancellor presided over the programme.
Dr Sr Severine Menezes, director of Pauline Home Counselling Centre, Mulki and Dr Brijendra Singh Yadav, head of School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun delivered technical sessions.
Book of Abstracts, Book of Proceedings of the previous conference, a book titled 'Information Communication and Computing Technology' edited by P K Paul, P S Aithal, Subramanya Bhat, Krishna Prasad K and a book titled 'Social Work: History and Philosophy' by Dr Laveena D'Mello were released.
Dr Pradeep M D, convener of the conference, Dr Laveena D'Mello - dean of Social Sciences & Humanities, Dr Vidya N, course coordinator for MSC Psychology, Professor Ashwini, course coordinator for BA Journalism & Mass Communication, Gururaj G Gowda - research scholar College of Social Sciences & Humanities were present at the programme.
