Mangaluru: Srinivas University College of Aviation Studies holds yoga competition for BBA students

Mangaluru, Jun 22: College of Aviation Studies of Srinivas University (SU) on Monday June 21 conducted a yoga competition for BBA (Aviation Management)/(Aviation and Logistic Management)/(Aviation, Travel and Tourism Management) students on behalf of International Day of Yoga.

The students had to make a three-minute video of any of their favourite yogasana and also capture the pictures of various yoga postures. The videos and pictures were sent to the judges online. The activity was conducted with the intention of identifying the fitness-based skills of the students.

A majority of the students actively participated in the competition. Mohammed Sirajuddeen Munaiz of second-year BBA (Aviation Management) was awarded first place and Sindhoora P S of first-year BBA (Aviation and Logistic Management) was awarded second place.

The competition was planned and coordinated by Professor Shashank B S, the sports coordinator under the guidance of Professor Pavithra Kumari, the dean of the College of Aviation Studies of Srinivas University.
