Udupi: Body of unidentified man found on railway tracks, suicide suspected

Udupi, Jun 7: A body of an identified man was found on Monday June 7 on the railway tracks near Moodasagri, Doddanagudde, here. It is suspected that the man must have ended his life coming under a goods train running on the route at night.

The lifeless body is kept at the Ajjarkad district hospital morgue. A case in this connection was registered at Manipal police station. His relatives are requested to contact the citizen help centre of the police station.

Social worker Nithyananda Olakadu, Jeevan Indrali and Siddartha Bailur coordinated with the police department to gather the ruptured parts of the body and carry them to the morgue.
