Bantwal: Carmel College Modankap holds online stress management programme

Bantwal, Jun 7: Carmel College Modankap, here, on June 2 organised an online educational programme on 'Stress Management' for the NSS volunteers.

Srikanth Poojary Birav, district youth counselor, youth empowerment and sports department of Dakshina Kannada, was the resource person of this programme.

The resource person addressed the volunteers and explained about stress due to the pandemic, various methods to overcome and self-manage stress and the importance of spreading awareness about the same to contacts. He also clarified the doubts of the volunteers and lecturers.

Principal Dr Sr Latha Fernandez AC presided over the programme. In her remarks, she highlighted the importance of spreading awareness to the common people to fight against the coronavirus and avoid unnecessary stress related to it.

The president, vice-president and members of Lions and Lioness Club Bantwal were also present during the programme. Madhura K NSS programme officer, Carmel College Modankap, hosted the programme.
