Food kits distributed across 200 villages of Bidar

Bidar, Jun 6: Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiative (APPI) and Seva Sangam, Kalaburagi and ORBIT, Bidar a social service wing of the Diocese of Gulbarga distributed food kits to those in need.
 
7,500 food kits were prepared each amounting to Rs 1,000. Priests, sisters and members of the Gulbarga diocese along with the community, government officials and members of more than 40 self-help group took part in the program.
 








 


 
 
The food kits were distributed across 200 villages of Gulbarga and Bidar. Dr Naganath Hunsare, CMO, Shambulinga Desai, president of the town municipality, Geetha Reddy, medical officer, Fr Anil Crasta, director ORBIT, Fr Victor Vas, director Seva Sangam inaugurated the drive by distributing the first set of food kits in Humnabad, Bidar.
