Mangaluru, Jun 5: Srinivas University College of Hotel Management and Tourism, City Campus Pandeshwar, here, on June 5 organised an online competition on menu card making, ‘Lockdown Menu’.
The competition was based on four to five courses which consisted of foods that would help to boost the immunity against Covid-19.
Several participants submitted the menu card in their own creative way. The panel had judges from the college and an external judge, Rohit V Bhat - chef and owner of Le Aroma Bakery, Mangaluru.
These judges announced two winners and two runners-up based on various criteria given to the participants.
The winners were:
First place: Aysha Thahaniya , 2nd year Bhmct(4years)
Second place: Arya Shirodkar, 2nd year Bhmct(4years)
The runners up were:
A. Shravya Shetty, 1st year Bhmct(4 years)
B. Mohd Shahir, 2nd year Bhmct (4 years)
