Kundapur: Leopard dies after hit by running train

Kundapur, Jun 5: A leopard died after running into a speeding train near Kundabarandadi, on Saturday June 5 morning.

The leopard hit Rajdhani express near Senapura area in Kundapura taluk. The animal is said to be a 3-year-old male.

The leopard’s head had injuries which may have led to its death.

Post-mortem was conducted. The accident spot was visited by Kundapur forest officer and team.
