Mangaluru: 24-year-old from Bagalkot ends life near Kulai temple

Mangaluru, Jun 3: A man ended his life near a temple at Kulai here. The incident came to light on Thursday June 3 morning.

The deceased is identified as Sunil Naikar (24), native of Bagalkot district. It is learnt that he used to reside at Koorikjatta near Baikampady and work as a daily wage labourer.

Passers-by who were going to work, saw the mortal remains of the deceased hanging from the tree and informed the police.

Surathkal police reported to the spot and sent the body for post mortem.

Reportedly, Sunil had fallen in love with a girl. For some reason, the love life ended abruptly. Before ending his life, he recorded the information about his love affair in his mobile phone. 

A case in this regard is registered at Surathkal police station.
