Bengaluru, May 29: It is learnt that the officials of Special Investigation Team (SIT), who are investigating the sleaze sex CD case of former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi are going to give him clean chit as there is not enough evidence to prove the allegations made against him.
The sources say that the SIT officials are going to submit a B report as they did not get enough proof to prove the guilt. The victim woman in the CD had registered a case on Ramesh Jarkiholi under 376c, 354a, 504, 506, 417 and 67a sections of IPC.
An official of SIT said, “The investigation of sleaze CD case is complete. No evidence or proofs were available against Ramesh Jarkiholi. The victim woman in the CD has contacted Ramesh Jarkiholi repeatedly. She has called him many times on mobile and spoken to him in a provoking manner. In the video that is available, no scenes of Ramesh Jarkiholi forcing or harassing the woman are seen. The sexual act is a consensual one.”
SIT has recorded the statement of many people with regard to the case. Sources have confirmed that Ramesh Jarkiholi, who had said that he is not the man in the video and it is fake, agreed that he is indeed the person in the video in front of the SIT officials.
It is said that Jarkiholi is the victim of honeytrap and the SIT will submit a B report to the court in this regard soon.
