Kundapur, May 27: The long-pending demand for clean drinking water for the residents of Byndoor is finally fulfilled. Administrative approval for the project of supplying clean drinking water to several houses at a cost of Rs 396 crore has been approved by the Karnataka chief minister.
The project will greatly benefit the lives of people in Byndoor, stated MP B Y Raghavendra.
The project for 788 houses will be implemented under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund of NABARD.
"It will provide a permanent solution to the drinking water woes in the constituency. The work will begin soon after the tender process. I thank CM BS Yediyurappa and MLA B M Sukumar Shetty who helped make the project a reality," Raghavendra stated in the press release.
