Mangaluru: Dr Rama Satish K V throws light on research paper at Srinivas University national webinar

Mangaluru May 24: College of Computer Science and Information Science, Srinivas University, organized a national level webinar on the topic 'Tips for Writing an Effective Research Paper'. Dr Rama Satish K V, a professor from RNSIT, Bengaluru was the resource person.

The resource person gave an insight on writing an effective paper. He explained the various parts of the research paper and the steps of research paper writing in detail.

He also gave ideas on writing analytical research articles, cause and effect of the research paper. He mentioned the ways of experiential research paper and how mathematics and equations are important in giving proof for the research work done.

While answering the questions shooted out by the participants, he explained the difference between an ordinary paper, survey paper and research paper and the benefits.

He said, "Selecting proper research problem statement is very important and this needs to be taken care of and concise writing of the scientific paper is essential."

Dr Nethravathi P S Professor of College of Computer Science and Information Science and convener of the webinar welcomed the guests. Dr Krishna Prasad K delivered the vote of thanks.

Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University was present during the webinar. Professor Subramanya Bhat, dean of Computer Science and Information Sciences also attended the webinar.

Over 200 participants attended the webinar.
