Bengaluru: FIR filed days after Covid war room staff manhandled by BJP MLA's aides

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaliuru, May 9: A complaint has been registered in HSR Layout police station against a crowd of 60 persons, said to be aides of BJP MLA Satish Reddy, who entered the Covid war room of Bommanahalli zone, tried to assault an IAS officer and other staff, and obstructed the officials from discharging their duty.

Probationary officer, Yashwanth Gurukar, filed the above complaint in HSR Layout police station.

On April 30, Yashwanth Gurukar, the in-charge of the Covid war room belonging to Bommanahalli zone, had visited the war room between 11 am and 12 pm, when a crowd of about 50 to 60 unidentified people came together near the war room on the issue of booking beds for the Covid patients.

The crowd mobbed the war room, and behaved rudely with the joint commissioner, Ramakrishna. They pushed Yashwanth and Ramakrishna around and obstructed them from discharging their government duties, Gurukar stated in his police complaint. He has urged the police to take action against the accused.

The police, who have registered a case, are probing the matter.

Supporters of Bommanahalli BJP MLA, Satish Reddy, who has been named in the bed blocking scandal, had visited the war room of Bommanahalli zone, tried to attack the officials and threatened them. This incident had triggered widespread resentment all over the state against the attackers.

Who will penalise whom. There is no justice and hence the goons took the rule in hand . It should have been their duty to safeguard the rights of frontline working staff with due respect.

As available seats turned from Zero to 1500 when this scam broke out, it is 100% evident that there is truth in this scam. Those who paid money though Google pay , Pay TM etc, for illegally booking beds please come forward and file case, this will provide strong proof and nobody can deny. Then punish (hang) those who were involved in this scam irrespective of their political connections.

Rightly said. But here if you see comments everyone is only happy targeting opposition or ruling party. Nobody is interested in the scam. This is our fate. People need to think out if political affiliation.

It is BJP scandal now again. BJP MLA, officials, supporter, bakhts getting treated for Covid-19 and don't want to disclose. They want to get treated covertly. At this situation of pandemic , Let all the hospitals in India stop VIP reservations of beds and ventilators, and serve first come first basis. Again note that these politicians will send healthy bakhts to claim as covid patients and occupy the beds till a MLA/politician come as a covid + Ultimately the Bakhts will not get beds for their family members, and when they will realise?

Water boarding is done in US bases for terrorist's ....US hold 'patent' for Water boarding so Karnataka Police are not allowed to use it without US permission... You have your own 'DESI' version called 'AEROPLANE' try that first....Yeddy supplied Aeroplanes, Pilots and Air-Hostesses to all Karnataka Police Stations... ...Tak...Takk...
