Mangaluru: St Aloysius College organises 'Food Kit Drive'

Mangaluru, May 7: “Together in faith, hope, prayer, reflection and wellness, assistance and service responding to Covid-19.”

St Aloysius PU College, Harihar stands in solidarity with all of India in the fight against Covid-19. The College in association with Karnataka Health Promotion Trust and AIDS Provision society, a Food Kit Drive was organised to provide support in this time of crisis.

The ration food kits were distributed to people with HIV under the coordination of Vilisha D'Souza assisted by the St Aloysius PU College, Harihar Covid Task Force.

The food kits were prepared by the team which contained basic necessary items such as dal, rice, oil, jaggery, beaten rice, salt, rava, tea powder and soaps.

The foods kits were distributed in Davangere on May 6 at around 3 pm which was led by the principal Baptist Sunny Gudinho along with the coordinator Vilisha Dsouza and the volunteers.

St Aloysius PU College, Harihar has always stood strong assessing the needs of the people in a time of crisis. The College provides other emergency help such as medical kits, ambulance, counselling and KIOSK centres. We all are in this together.
