Mangalore, Aug 9: It was a unique experience for the members of the 1973 batch of Ladyhill Victoria Girls School here when they met for a reunion recently.
The batch had been together in first standard. At that time, co-education system was followed in the school, which was why some of the participants were men. However, the school became girls-only the following year and hence the majority of people present were women.
About 31 of the 70 batch members attended the programme, which was held at one of the bacthmate's house, near Kari, Mangalore. One person even flew in from Mumbai just for the event, while a few of them were in city on holidays.
As the members saw each other after some 37 years, many of them seemed changed beyond recognition. The participants, thrilled with the reunion, exchanged contact details and shared their experiences with each other.
