Mangaluru: Man posts derogatory remark on Facebook against PM Modi, wife sacked from Beary academy

Mohan Kuthar

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (DV)

Mangaluru, Apr 28: Days after a man posted a derogatory post against Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on Facebook (FB), Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy (KBSA) on Tuesday, April 27 sacked its nominated member.

The sacked member is identified as Nafisa Misriya. The register of KBSA sacked her, following a letter by Rahim Uchil, chairman of Beary Sahithya Academy.

A person named Luqman Adyar had posted a derogatory statement against PM Modi. In this regard, BJP leader Faizal Assaigoli filed a police complaint at Konaje police station demanding strict action against the Luqman.

KBSA chairman Rahim Uchil, speaking to Daijiworld said, "Nafisa Misriya was the nominated member of the academy. Her husband had posted derogatory comments against the Prime Minister of the country, which cannot be accepted at any cost. Hence, I have written a letter to the registrar to sack her from the post of the nominated member."

Action taken by Rahim Uchil is not correct, reason if husband writes ill about PM, take cyber legal action against the person who wrote against PM. I think minority leader in BJP lacks education on basic law. Legal action is taken against the culprit, not culprits wife. Anwar Manippady senior BJP leader or advocate Agsar of BJP would have done a far better job...in fact the right action has been taken by Advocate Agsar as per law. Now why target the culprits wife? Uneducated politicians cause casualty to the Party.

I am a huge Modi fan and NAMO is my role model. I do not tolerate or appreciate any derogatory article against him. However, in the instant case, the husband has posted derogatory article against Modi and sacking of his wife for his deeds is not just and fair. Let wisdom prevail upon the concerned authorities and let her be reinstated w ith immediate effect . If this comes to the knowledge of Modi , I am sure he will advise to reinstate the wife with her job Hope she will return to her job

God is same for everyone, all those who cannot remove their frustrations openly, use internet to vomit their poison, they are losers who hide in their homes and post their frustrations online, in my opinion the wife should not be sacked or punished for what her coward husband has done.

Kundapura/Singapura Express, BTW, This topic is about Indian PM, not Singapore PM. You just enjoy under the leadership of Mr.Lee. don't worry about us. Rita, Do they demean the Chancellor in Germany?? Can you also explain why all those previous PMs of India were respected including BJPs own Atalji. I have huge respect for him. Indira was questioned by the student union leader, Sitaram Yechuri,(who turned a good politician later)but she never took revenge on him. Kiran Bedi fined Rajiv for parking car in a no parking zone, he did not transferred her to a desert. Can Ms. Bedi say a word now, I am sure she will be dumped in Himalayas. Criticising is part of democracy and as ashok put those names, if you call derogatory, these names are not created by anyone else

Kiran bedi fined car belonging to PMO officials not Rajeev Gandhi, and sitaram yechuri was just a student leader during emergency whose children studied and worked abroad, he did not challenge Indira. George Fernandes is the one who challenged her, that is the reason all the congress leaders were after his blood.

This is the result of not having a open Press Conference since 2014. If there was one people would have interacted one-on- one and clarified all doubts and misconceptions. Monkey Ba’ath and one way monologue is not a democratic way of showing transparency. It’s a cowardly and self indulgence practice.

It’s no derogatory remarks at any cost. It’s the FACTS which are true, seen and observed in daily lives and even can be proved in court of law but Modi himself will squash the case. Truth is Always Bitter. BTW, if Modi is elected by people and salaries paid by our tax rupees then what is wrong in pointing out his flawed leadership.
