Mangaluru, Apr 27: Two accused have been arrested regarding the derogatory wall graffiti that was scribbled on the wall of Pumpwell flyover.

Two juveniles are arrested. The arrests were made based on evidence from CCTV footages.

Both the arrested are students of a private college in the city.

They made the graffiti so that lockdown would be implemented and their exams get postponed, said police sources.

It may be recalled, the graffiti was written on the wall of the Pumpwell flyover that is opposite the Karnataka bank head office and noticed on April 20. The graffiti said 'Lockdown is required'.
