Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 15: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 166 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 37,306. Out of these, 1,250 cases are currently active.
A total of 6,74,826 samples have been tested. Out of which 6,37,520 are negative.
As many as 68 people were discharged on Thursday, A total of 743 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 45,706 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 47,45,399 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 26,369, including 111 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 526 cases are currently active.
Over 4,57,163 samples have been tested so far.
As many as 59 patients were discharged on Thursday. A total of 192 deaths have occurred so far.
