Most-awaited Tulu movie 'English' releases across movie theatres in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Mar 26: Tulu movie ‘English’ that has been directed by Sooraj Shetty was released on March 26 at Big Cinemas.

The movie is produced by Harish Sherigar and Sharmila Sherigar under the banner ACME Movies International.

Pruthvi Ambar and Navya Poojary are playing lead roles in the movie. Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Vismaya Vinayak and Deepak Rai are playing prominent roles.

The movie will release at Ramakanthi, PVR, Big Cinemas, and Cinepolis in Mangaluru. It will also release in Udupi, Manipal, Suratkal, Puttur, Beltangady, Sullia, Moodbidri, Karkala, Koppa, Sakleshpur, Mysuru, Bengaluru, Shuntikoppa and Kasargod.

‘English’ was shot in Udupi, Mangaluru, Bengaluru and Moodbidri.

Renowned actor Anant Nag will make his Tulu debut with ‘English’. He will be seen in a guest role. Krishna Sarathi was the cinematographer of the movie. The music has been composed by Manikanth Kadri.

Sooraj Shetty has directed movies like ‘Ekka Saka’, ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’ and ‘Ammer Polisa’, while Harish Sherigar has produced three Kannada films namely ‘March 22’, ‘Hottegagi Genu Battegagi’ and ‘Yaana’.

Director Sooraj Shetty, producer Harish Sherigar, actress Navya Poojary, actor Pruthvi Ambar, and Harish Sherigar’s brother, Srinivas Sherigar, Prakash Sherigar, managing director of Daijiworld Media Walter Nandalike, managing director of V4 Laxman Kunder, producer Prakash Pandeshwar, music director Manikanth Kadri, police commissioner N Shashi Kumar were present.

Aditya Raj compered the event.

A premier show was also held for the police officers of Mangaluru city commissionerate.
