8 police officers from twin districts selected for Chief Minister's Medal

Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 23: As many as four policemen and one policewoman serving in Dakshina Kannada were among the 115 officers selected for the Chief Minister's Medal for the year 2020.

Among the five, three are from the Mangaluru police commissionerate.

Praveen Rai from Puttur, Uppinangady police station, Sampath Kumar B from Bajpe, district police technical team, Nayana, Mangaluru South police station, Sujan Shetty Mangaluru North police station and Abdul Jabbar, CCB Mangaluru are the five cops selected for the Chief Minister's Medal.

Udupi

Three police officers from Udupi have been selected for the prestigious Chief Minister's Medal for the year 2020.

Raghavendra M Byndoor, SIT Lokayukta of Byndoor division, Ramachandra Nayak, inspector, CEN police station Udupi, Shankar, HC, DAR Udupi have been selected for the honour.

    The measurement or the criteria on which they have been selected should be made public ..General public should make note of these Heros in the Police department and felicitate them ..in public functions ..This will inspire many other corrupt officers to come to the right path..     Yes, the criteria should be revealed. I think these personnel are nominated based on their loyalty to the superiors. 'Yes Sir' is the main criteria!!!
