Ramesh Kanchan submits memorandum to DC seeking urgent repairs on Udupi-Malpe NH

Udupi, Feb 7: Under the leadership of Udupi Block Congress committee president Ramesh Kanchan, submitted a memorandum to the Udupi deputy commissioner (DC), urging immediate repairs of the Udupi-Malpe national highway.

The highway, which has deteriorated significantly, has been causing severe inconvenience to commuters. Thousands of people from Malpe and nearby areas travel to Udupi daily, facing immense difficulties due to the poor condition of the road. Large potholes have made the highway dangerous, leading to frequent accidents. Considering public safety, the Congress leaders demanded urgent repairs to restore the road’s usability.

Several prominent leaders were present on the occasion, including Naveen Shetty, vice president, Kadekar gram panchayat, Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, former president, Udupi Municipal, Yuvraj Puttur, Sandhya Tilakraj, and Block Congress committee members Sharath Shetty, Shashiraj Kundar, Satish Kodavoor, Narayan Kundar, Satish Putran, Bharat Manipal, Archana Devadiga, Sanjay Acharya, Brahmavar Block Youth Congress president Arjun Nayari, and Sagar Sanil.
