Mangaluru: Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College celebrates Traditional Day in true ethnicity

Mangaluru, Mar 20: With the spirit of 'Unity in Diversity', students of Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College, celebrated Traditional Day on March 19 in glitter, color and essence.

The students dressed up in traditional attire as per the states allotted to them. A variety entertainment programme was organized to depict the culture of West Bengal, Kerala, Rajasthan and Kashmir. Every state was well exhibited from food habits, rituals to their dance forms.

The principal, Sr Ujwala was immensely happy by their performance and appreciated everyone for their teamwork. Every class received prizes for their presentation.

The students who had participated in the virtual competition conducted by the college in October-November were also honored for their achievement.

Later, students were also given an opportunity to exhibit their talents in dance, music and speech. In all, it was a great success and it definitely strengthened the bond among the students and created respect for ethnicity in Indian. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
