Bengaluru, Mar 19: Getting down to serious electioneering after his series of visits to Christian/Catholic Churches, Sabarimala temple and Mata Amrutanandamayi and holding discussions with various leaders of the religious communities, Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan launched the Kerala BJP campaign videos in Thiruvanthapuram on Friday.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who is also the State’s Higher Education Minister, has been busy in election campaign work for BJP after being put in charge of the electioneering work.
Having campaigned for party candidates in Kerala, Dr Narayan on Friday addressed the media attacking the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government for its total failure in solving the unemployment problem and carrying out rampant nepotism as also misrule.
The LDF government has failed in all sectors and its ranking has come down below many other states, he said.
Under the Pinrayi Vijayan’s LDF regime, the State Government has completely failed in job creation and also in creating conducive atmosphere to attract investment. It is a pity that the educated youth of Kerala have to migrate to other states or go abroad in search of jobs, he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister said Kerala was lagging behind in industry, job creation and agriculture while the entire country was marching ahead. The LDF rule was going backwards and concentrating on irrelevant issues, he said.
The Kerala government and LDF partners were indulging in rampant nepotism and promoting only those supporting the ruling parties. Corruption and nepotism have become so widespread that Kerala Public Service Commission has now become Party Service Commission, he alleged and said incompetent persons have been appointed to key positions in government by ignoring all norms.
Dr Narayan called upon the people of Kerala to throw out the LDF government for its complete failure along with the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) which was against development.
Kerala BJP Election Management Committee chief George Kurian was also present.
