Mangaluru, Mar 18: A team led-by CID superintendent of Police Rohini Katoch Sepat who started the inquiry into the alleged sale of the luxury car and money doubling case, has seized the high-end car that was sold to an employee of a private firm in Bengaluru.
As per the reports of The Times of India, according to the present vehicle owner, the 2012 model car was sold for Rs 14.5 lac. Appearing before the investigation team, present owner claimed that he bought the car with help of middlemen.

According to sources, the CID team from Bengaluru had visited the city to gather crucial information on money doubling cases and the sale of the luxury car. The team also visited the offices of Eliya Construction and Builders Pvt Ltd.
It may be recalled that a case against Eliya has been registered under Dakshina Kannada police Limits. In connection to the case, on October 22 last year, police had arrested Tomy Mathew, T Rajan and Abish for allegedly collecting cash from the people under Eliya Construction and Builders Pvt Ltd, following a complaint from a woman.
