Bangalore, Jul 15:  With the rising number of vehicles, the noise pollution campaign is gaining importance in the city.  With regard to this, ‘No Honking Day’ was observed here, recently.



The day was organized in partnership with in partnership with Karnataka Police. Distribution of stickers for vehicles, cafes and shops and creating awareness among auto rickshaw drivers were done as a part of the campaign.

The event flagged off from Tiffany Circle then moved on to Cubbon Park, Kasturba
Road Junction and then proceeded to Kanteerava Stadium with placards, banners and colour posters.

    Honking to be allowed when some one is violating the traffic on road, this is the way in Europe,USA,Middle East
