Mangaluru, Mar 5: In filmy style, the owner of a jewellery shop chased a thief who fled with a golden ornament from his shop in Car Street in broad daylight of Thursday March 4.
A thief in the guise of a customer had entered Arun G Shet Jewellers in Car Street in the afternoon. As he asked for the gold ornament, the owner showed him the same. Meanwhile, the thief started to flee from the spot. The owner who saw him fleeing with ornament, chased the thief and finally caught him few steps away from the shop.
