He was speaking to media after minister of Housing Affairs, Hardeep S Puri, released the results of EOLI and MPI through the virtual conference on Thursday March 4.
The mayor said, “Public participation is very important in the assessment of Smart City projects. In the city, there are 34 ongoing works, out of which few are under the process of proposal and DPR. Under the Smart City project, focus will be given to develop the old port to improve the economy,” he said.
Bengaluru emerged as the top city on the government's Ease of Living Index 2020. Pune ranked second and Ahmedabad secured the third rank among 111 cities.
Prashanth Kumar Mishra, in-charge MD of SMCL, speaking to the media said that an affidavit has been submitted to the court, stating that the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) given by the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) will be followed during the construction works. “The construction waste will be collected in the construction and demolition debris box.
