Mangaluru: International Women’s Day celebration at Dr Dayananda Pai College on Mar 8

Mangaluru, Mar 4: With the tagline ‘I am a woman, is it a crime?’, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Women’s Forum, All Ages (A unit of AGHOR Group), will celebrate International Women’s Day at Dayananda Pai Government College Auditorium on Monday March 8.

Dr Rajendra K V, deputy commissioner and district magistrate, Dakshina Kannada, and Sanath Shekar, managing director, AGHOR group, Mangaluru, will inaugurate the event.

Premananda Shetty, mayor, Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC), Sumangala Rao, deputy mayor, MCC, and Revathi, police inspector, women’s police station, Pandeshwar, will grace the event as chief guests.

Prof Rajshekar Hebbar C, principal, Dr P D Pai-P S Pai Government First Grade College, Car Street, Mangaluru, will preside over the event.

Poornima, former health chairperson, MCC, Leelavathi Prakash, accounts chairperson, MCC, will attend as guest.

Dr Manjula Ullal, Gynaecologist, Ullal Nursing Home, Mangaluru, will participate as resource person and deliver the keynote address on the topic ‘Challenges women faces when trying when trying to fulfill her dreams’.

Dr Shivarama P, chief academic advisor , Dr P D Pai- P S Pai College, Dr Sylarani, coordinator , Women’s Forum, will also be present for the event.

S L Shet Diamond House, Ladyhill, Mangaluru, is the co-sponsor of the event. Zari Couture is the associate partner. The entire event is supported by Aghor Group, Pishtac, Nandini and Zuese Fitness. Sailani is the travel partner for the entire event designed by Smart Adz. Daijiworld is the media partner of the event.
