Mangaluru, Mar 4: In an incident that occurred on the wee hours of Thursday March 4, miscreants pelted stones on the windshield of two cars parked inside the verandah of the house and also on the window panes of the house. The area where this incident took place is Jallicross under Naringana panchayat limits near Ullal on the outskirts of the city.

Jallicross resident Abbas had parked his two cars in the verandah of the house. Around 3.30 am on Thursday, the inmates of the house heard a sound. When they came out to check, they saw that the windshields of both Omni and Qualis cars were completely shattered. In addition, the window panes of the house also are damaged.

Konaje police arrived at the spot and investigated further. They checked CCTV footage at Montugoli, Devinagara and Duggajjarakatte. They found a jeep and a bike moving to and fro within a few minutes.

Abbas owns a ration shop and does not have any enmity with anyone. Reason for this act of miscreants is not known.
