Beltangady, Mar 3: The mortal remains of Thejaswini, a resident of Kolodi, Neriya village, who was reported missing since nine days was found in the forest on Wednesday March 3.

The 23-year-old woman had gone missing while she was on her way home from Ujire on February 22. Locals from the area, who had been to the forest to gather firewood on Wednesday spotted her lifeless body which had decomposed. They suspect that she committed suicide consuming poison.

Thejaswini was the daughter of Neriya village residents Manjunatha and Sushila. She was working as a maid at a house in Ujire since the last four years and was undergoing computer education. She had left the house saying that she was going to her mother’s house after her computer classes in the evening on February 22 but never returned and was reported missing. A complaint in this connection was lodged at Dharmasthala police station.

Police visited the spot and the post-mortem of the body has been conducted. Police are conducting further investigation.

Another case in Dharmasthala area... I dont think its a suicide case, .... again this case will be closed by booking a beggar or a mentally ill person as culprit and the real culprits wil do the same work again and again.. Police also know who is the real culprit but cannot do anything as they are highly influential people of that area...poor girl..

😪😪😪.....ears of the concerned legal authorities are completely become deaf....especially in such cases. Say suicide ..pay for the post mortem...and close the case just like burrying the body.

Almighty, what is happening in our country.so sad. No cows are going missing but women or girls. No composed body of a cow was found in forest but women and girls.I am sure she was returning from classes and something happend there. She must have not taken any poison ,otherwise body would stink medicine or chemicals.may her soul rest in Peace.Heartfelt sympathy to her family. So young and had no chance to live in this world.
