Udupi, Jul 5: Milagrean Museum, the museum set up by Milagres parish under the leadership of parish priest and correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions was inaugurated by Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese at the old Milagres High School on Sunday July 4.
Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the people to preserve our culture and traditions. He also said that the museum will prove to be a treasure for the future generation.
The collections in the museum is over a crore worth with wooden , silver and iron articles that were used by ancestors in the coastal belt of the state.
The museum is open to public. Rashmi Suresh Sequeira couple are the main sponsors of the museum.
