Bangalore, Jul 4: The BJP is learnt to have shortlisted names of six non-performing cabinet ministers, who will likely be shown the door in the next cabinet reshuffle if they fail to improve.
Party president Nitin Gadkari, who was in the city on Saturday July 3 expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of six departments during the meeting though he did not name the ministers. However, he authorized Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to drop the non-performing ministers, if necessary.
Hence it is speculated that CM is likely to reshuffle the cabinet after the ongoing legislature session. Gadkari also advised Yeddyurappa to work towards improving public image of the government in the State. “The next three years are crucial. Improve image of the Government. Ministers should not complain about inadequate resources,” he said it is learnt. He also warned that the performance of every minister will be closely monitored and continued based on their performance.
