Bangalore, Jul 2: As the opposition parties have given call for a countrywide bandh on Monday July 5 in protest against the hike in the prices of petroleum products brought into effect by the central government, the state PU education department has brought changes in the time table for the pre university class supplementary examinations that are under way presently.
The supplementary examinations in political science, statistics and biology subjects, which were scheduled to be held on July 5, will now be held on July 10. All other supplementary examinations will be held as stipulated in the time table, commissioner in the department of PU education, said.
In the meanwhile, 93 students found to be copying during the supplementary examination in English on Thursday in various centres, were debarred, it is learnt.
