Mangaluru, Feb 10: Karavali Sangeetha Kalavidara Okkoota held the valedictory ceremony for the season 3 of Swara Kudla in a grand ceremony at Town Hall on Wednesday, February 10 on the occasion of 13th annual celebration. Contestant Dharini emerged the winner of the singing competition, Rajesh Prabhu was the first runners-up and Joyson Lobo bagged second runners-up of Swara Kudla season 3.
The auditions for the third season was held on January 31. As many as 103 participants took part in the audition. Among 103 participants 26 were selected for semifinals and 12 were selected for the finals. The judges for semifinal and finals were Shinoy V Joseph, Sangeetha Balachandra and Malini Keshav.
In the event, renowned artists were felicitated for their achievements, the recipients included Konkani singer, Meena Gracia Rebimbus, her son Vishwas Rebimbus received the award on her behalf, singer, guitarist and drummer Ganesh Kumar and Junior Mohammed Rafi fame, Khalid Akhtar P A. Founder and managing director of Daijiworld Media, Walter Nandalike was also felicitated for the tremendous success of Corona Gellona program that televised on Daijiworld247 during the lockdown period.
Founder president of Talent Research Foundation Abdul Rauf Putthige, mayor, Diwakar Pandeshwar, director Daijiworld media, Lawrence D'Souza, general manager MRPL (projects), B Kiran, Chandrashekar S Shetty of Vachana Hospitality, Diwakar Kadri, Mohan Bengre, vice president of Okkoota Mallika Shetty, treasurer, Ivan D'Souza and general secretary, Ramesh Salian were present.
President of Karavali Sangeetha Kalavidara Okkoota, Mohammed Iqbal welcomed the gathering, advisor, Tonse Pushkala Kumar compered the program.
