Kasargod, Jan 25: The post-mortem report of Mohammed Rafiq (49) who reportedly died after having been beaten up by a gang at Ashwini Nagar here, says that he died out of heart attack.
The report mentions that there are no external injury marks caused by the alleged attack. The Report also says that no internal injuries too were found. The report prepared by the surgeon of Kannur Medical College Hospital stated that Mohammed Rafiq suffered a heart attack due to assault and there were three blocks in his artery. This information was given by Kasargod town police circle inspector P Rajesh.

A small injury was found in the neck region of the deceased and the police believe this would have happened when he fell down. After post-mortem, the body was released to the relatives.
The deceased Rafiq faced a case filed by a woman for behaving in an indecent way with her. Now, a report of unnatural death about his demise has been registered.
