Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 22: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 46 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 32,659. Out of these, 436 cases are currently active.

A total of 4,38,105 samples have been tested. Out of which, 4,05,446 are negative.

As many as 47 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,491.

A total of 732 deaths have occured so far.

Over 18,042 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 19,24,384 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,976, including 15 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 78 cases are currently active.

Over 2,74,888 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,51,912 have turned out negative.

As many as seven patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,710.

A total of 188 deaths have occured so far.
