Udupi, Dec 19: Crib is one of the outer symbolic representations of the Christmas season. One can see creative cribs in many houses and all churches to mark the season. The crib is a centuries’ old tradition that carries a strong message to all which is the birth of Jesus Christ who preached about love, peace, harmony and love towards all and also living a simple lifestyle.

To encourage the tradition in the new generation, Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises and Uzward Fortnightly magazine, have announced 'Godali Sadagara', a crib photo contest for this year also.

The contest will be held in two categories - individual and group. The contest is open for all.

In the each category, first, second and third prize with cash, certificate and memento will be given. Three consolations prizes in each category will also be given.

Rules and Regulations

• The contest is open for all.
• Competition will be held in two categories – Individual (house) and group (church / organization / ward).
• Photographs with watermark will not be accepted.
• Photos should be clear with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution.
• Maximum 4 photos can be sent by the participant. Photos should include both day and night pictures. Along with the photos, a 2-minute short video of the crib can be sent via We Transfer. Additional one group pic along with the crib can be send.
• For individual entry, participant’s name, church name, complete address, and contact details must be mentioned clearly.
• For group entry, name of the group, contact person's name, address, contact details must be mentioned clearly.
• Judges' decision will be final and binding.
• First, second and third prizes along with 3 consolation prizes will be awarded in each of the categories.
• Prizes include cash prize, certificates and mementos.
• December 30, 2020 is the last date for sending the entries.
