Police arrest Odisha man for sale of drugs, seize marijuana worth Rs 2 lac

Vasco, Dec 7: An Odisha man identified as Simanphal Swain (32) has been arrested by the Verna police with marijuana worth Rs 2 lac.

Police have said that at 6 pm on Sunday, Swain was found waiting for a customer. When he was searched by the police, they found 2.2 kg of marijuana. Following definite information, police had intercepted Swain. He was taken into custody and booked for the crime.

PSI Sanket Talkar is the complainant and PSI Praveen Semapuraskar is the investigating officer.
