Budapest, Dec 2 (IANS): Hungary has registered 4,136 new Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 225,209, health officials said.
As many as 165 more people have died from the virus, pushing the country's fatalities to 5,142, while 65,888 infected people have recovered, Xinhua news agency reported.
Hungary's Covid-19 cases have risen sharply since late August.
The country's total cases topped 10,000 on September 10, 50,000 on October 21, 100,000 on November 7, and 150,000 on November 17.
