Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 25: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 39 fresh coronavirus cases on Wednesday raising the tally to 31,664. Out of these, 539 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,45,989 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,14,325 are negative.

As many as 28 people were discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,416.

A total of 709 deaths have occured so far, including one on Wednesday.

Over 14,244 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 15,37,302 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,553, including 19 fresh cases on Wednesday. Out of these, 186 cases are currently active.

Over 2,28,229 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,05,676 have turned out negative.

As many as 10 patients were discharged on Wednesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,180.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
