Mangaluru, Nov 17: The parish priest of Holy Cross Church, Kulsheker, Fr Victor Machado, has written and published a book ‘Somiyache Yene Kurpe Dene’ keeping in view the ensuing Christmas. This book was released on November 15 at Kulshekar church by the Bishop of the diocese, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha at a function held.
Professor John D'Silva of St Aloysius' College, Sr Janice Mary of Roshini Nilaya, Santosh D'Costa, secretary, city ward, Fr William Menezes, Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, Fr Louis Coutinho, Fr James D'Souza, Fr Alban D'Souza, Fr Joseph Mascarenhas, Fr Gerald D'Souza, Fr Austin Peris, Mangaluru dioceses Public Relations Officer Roy Castelino were also present at the function.
At the event, Fr Victor Machado informed that the fund generated by this book will be utilized to construct homes for hard-up families within the church jurisdiction.
