Mangalore: KMC’s Free Medical Check-up Camp on May 9

Mangalore, May 7, 2010: KMC Hospital and MCF, Mangalore will hold a free medical check up camp in the premises of Government Higher Primary School at Marakada, Kunjathbail on Sunday May 9 from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm.
 
Patients suffering from Cardiac, Orthopaedic, general medicine, skin, ENT, paediatric, OBG and surgery related cases can avail free consultation or screening and medication in the medical check-up camp.
 
Green cards (Hospital discount card) will be issued to the needy patients who require further treatment under admission. Admitted Green cardholders can avail up to Rs 3,000 discount on their treatments and patients undergoing surgery can avail up to Rs 5,000 discount on their surgery or treatment.
 
Dr Mahesh Inder VS, medical superintendent, KMC Hospital stated that these free camp services are especially offered to the needy patients who cannot afford quality healthcare services. Thus by providing such facilities, KMC Hospital aims to improve the health of the general public and help reduce the prevalent sickness in the city.
