Mumbai, Apr 26: Konkani devotional hymns CD, Somyak Dinvasuiam containing golden old hymns and produced by JEDI Music Company was released in a function organized at Sarker Corner, Veer Desai Road, Andheri East, recently.
The CD was released by George D'Souza Borivli president of Canara Konkani Association, Borivli. A famous singer Fr Baptist Pais, parish priest of Sacred Heart Church, Andheri blessed the CD. ON the occasion, muhurat for new project, Forever Konkani Hits, Volume 2 of JEDI was held by Clement Lobo, Chakala. The producer Julias Braganza, marketing manager Simson Braganza, project manager Charles D'Cunha Borivli and Philomena Lobo were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr Pais said that "It was a great opportunity to work with JEDI Music Company and share the talent given by the Lord with others. I am happy to be with the famous artist over here because of the goodwill of the producer Julias Braganza and the project manager Charles D'Cunha. Through such projects it is easy to reach out to the mass and spread His good words".
Music director TonyDias said that the group’s commitment to work until late in the night to bring out a quality product brings out their team spirit. Famous composer Victor concesso wished the company well and hoped that company brings out many more such products.
The CD contains 19 such songs namely Somyak Dinvasuiam, Swikar Kor Hem Ful, Tujya Vinyak, Amchya Bapa Sorginchya, Sam Francis Savera, Tujya Hatant, Tuje Sorshim Deva, Gupit Mhojya Deva, Ballok Jezu, Kristacho Mog To, Jezu Borya Govllya, Noman Tuka Khursa, Sam Loresa, Kallza Ye Jezuchya, Kristachya Otmya, Rakonn Bhoddvya Mhojya, Juze Doyall and Koxttatelyano yeyat.
The singers and the chorus singers are Fr Baptist Pais, Ivan Sequeira, Nephie Pradhan, Charles D'Cunha, Victor Concesso, Antony Tauro, Milagreen, Dorin Pinto and Veronica DSouza. Tony Dias is the music director. Instrumentals are by Tony Dias, Theo Alvares, Shyam Raj, Allen D'Costa, Mark Anthony and Ravi Jasraj. The CD is priced at Rs 100/- only and available at all leading stalls of Mangalore and Mumbai.
