Udupi, Oct 21: Udupi police have arrested within 12 hours three women who have been accused of stealing a bag from a woman in the city bus, along with a purse and ATM cards belonging to her.

The accused identified as Ballari residents Latha, Kavita and Sabita boarded a city bus near Kunjibettu and stood next to Archana Rao, a fellow passenger. The accused had an infant with them which they gave Archana to hold. Meanwhile, the three women stole ATM cards, cash and other documents from Archana's bag. They later withdrew Rs 25,000 using that ATM card.

Archana had lodged a complaint in Udupi police station in this connection. Police personnel who got down to action conveyed the information to other police stations in the district. The three women who had booked a ticket to travel to Dharwad were caught by the police with the help of rickshaw drivers and local people.

Police are being commended for arresting the suspects within 12 hours of the incident. They were successful in recovering Rs 32,400 in cash, two mobile phones and two ATM cards from the accused.

"The accused identified as Ballari residents Latha, Kavita and Sabita boarded a city bus near Kunjibettu and stood next to Archana Rao, a fellow passenger. The accused had an infant with them which they gave Archana to hold. "

there were 3 women (accused) and 1 child with them... despite the 3 women, they gave to child to the standing 4th woman (supposed victim) to hold...???

if they boarded in Kunjibettu, from Kunjibettu to Udupi hardly 5 minutes... within 5 minutes 3 women took atm cards, cash and documents from the 4th woman's bag without being noticed...?

from where they got atm pin...?
it is not possible to withdraw 25000 from atm in one withdrawal... so they did multiple withdrawals...

did the 4th woman inform the bank and hotlist the atm cards...???

    many holes in this incident...

Do you think the baby is their own, not necessarily. In cities, beggars take babies on rental. Rs 100 per 6 hours. See this incidence.

One day, a working woman in Mumbai came home an hour earlier from her office. Her baby she left with the servant was not there at home. On inquiry, it was found that the servant used to give daily the baby to a beggar at Rs 100 per 6 hours and before the parents come home, servant was giving bath and keeping baby ready.

You said here, they may have given tablets to the child. Even servants, I heard give tablets or give some cooking gas to baby's nose, so that baby sleeps well and the servant is not disturbed when her boyfriend comes to pass time with her.

Oh my goodness.... Oh god... What is this???? Terrible... If child dies because of the more supply of gas??? Parents rely on servants and go to work and look at these idiots !!!! They can keep the children in baby sitting na Santhan Sir??

Yes. Along with a servant, if a grand mother of baby is there is also okay.
