Bengaluru, Oct 7: A lady tahsildar was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials in the city when accepting a bribe of Rs seven lac.
Special tahsildar in the office of the tahsildar at K G Road here, Lakshmi, and clerk Prasannakumar, were trapped by the ACB officials. The tahsildar reportedly had demanded for a bribe of Rs seven lac from Azam Pasha. She was nabbed when accepting a bribe of Rs five lac.

It is said that Lakshmi and Prasanna Kumar had together demanded payment of Rs seven lac for getting RTC for Azam Pasha's landed property. Out of this, five lac rupees was meant for the tahsildar, and the remaining Rs two lac was meant for Prasannakumar. Lakshmi was accepting Rs five lac when her office was raided by the ACB officials.
