Adarsha Group of Institutions, PPC College Udupi organises free health check-up camp

Udupi, Feb 12: Adarsha Group of Institutions Udupi, Adarsha Super Speciality Hospital Udupi and NSS unit of Poornaprajna College Udupi, Udupi Sri Admaru Math Educational Institutions organised a mega free health check-up camp on February 9, at Subodhini Higher Primary School, Alevoor.

Yatheesh Kumar, president, Alevoor grama panchayat inaugurated the programme along with Dr Udaykumar Prabhu, senior physician Adarsha Hospital and Dr Damayanthi, department of obstetrics, Adarsha Hospital, Udupi.

Renowned and experienced doctors from Adarsha Hospital Udupi participated in the health check-up camp and assisted the public with necessary guidance. The team of expert doctors participated in the camp included Dr Udaykumar Prabhu, senior physician Dr Guruprasad Shetty, paediatrician Dr Abhijith, ophthalmologist Dr Damayanthi, obstetrics.

Free medicine was also provided based on the doctor's prescription. Diabetes and ECG tests and eye test facility was provided free of cost.

NSS officers of Poorna Prajna College Dr Nagaraj GP and Suparna, and headmistress of Subhodhini Higher Primary School Alevoor Pushpalatha B S were present on the occasion.

A large number of members of public also participated in the health check-up camp.
