Bantwal: Driver faints, lorry climbs median on NH 75 before stopping

Bantwal, Feb 12: A driver reportedly fainted while driving near Tumbe on National Highway 75, causing the lorry to mount the road divider and travel about 100 meters before coming to a halt.

The driver, who collapsed in his seat, was quickly taken to Tumbe Hospital by locals.

The incident took place around 7:45 am on Wednesday. Apart from causing damage to a road sign installed on the divider, no other significant damage was reported.

The lorry was travelling from Bengaluru towards Mangaluru at the time of the incident.
