Very sad news indeed. Mr. Bolar was a great personality, down to earth and kind in nature. His smiling face cannot be forgotten.
Being a great sports person he brought lot of fame to St. Aloysius College during his studies and I believe some of his records are unbroken even today. He was a good supporter of fishermen and helping hand for all. We cannot imagine, he is no more with us.
Our heartfelt condolences to his family members, his wife Dr Devi, sons Pawan and Praju. May the Almighty God give them strength to bear this terrible loss and may his soul Rest In Peace.

A kind hearted with good humour. Champion in Discus & Hammer throws. Had opportunities to bring back the Discus & Hammer throws thrown by him when he used to practice at Canara urva Maidan. We were studying at Canara School then. One of the huge figure then but very childish in nature. May his soul rest in peace.

A Great person who fought for the real cause of the fishing community ,a very down to earth person who would always encouraged paint companies to develop the best product ,try it out himself & then give acceptance for fishing community to buy it .
He also had vast knowledge,& use to always keep himself updated
The sad demise of him has made us all loose a True Guiding force .
May God give strength to the family
,May his soul rest in.peace 🙏🙏

We lost a great sportsman and a towering personality who brought laurels not only to our Mangalore, to our state Karnataka, to India but Internationally. When I was young I used to read lot of articles about his achievements in sports in Nav Bharat Times and Udayavani newspapers. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
