Tiger Woods' Kindergarten Teacher Demands Apology

London, Apr 7 (IANS): Tiger Woods' kindergarten teacher Maureen Decker demands an apology from the golfer amid accusations that she failed to protect him from racist bullies.

Imdb.com reports that the golfer recalled a traumatic incident that first made him aware of his racial identity in an interview he gave for author Charles Barkley's book "Who's Afraid of a Large Black Man?"

He said: "A group of sixth graders tied me to a tree, spray-painted the word 'nigger' on me, and threw rocks at me. That was my first day of school. And the teacher really didn't do much of anything."

But Decker insists "no such incident ever occurred" under her care and organised a press conference to address the claims, reports the website.

Woods made his first golf appearance Monday for the practice rounds at Masters since the sex scandal that broke out in November last year.
